VHF systems, ground to air, are widely used as communication tool between air traffic controllers and pilots.
The systems transmits secure data from ground to air and air to ground.

VHF systems, ground to ground,  used to exchange communication between ground-based aviation personnel. The system transmits secure data from ground to ground.

Voice communication and control systems, VCCS, are computer controlled systems that enable and control voice communication between air traffic controllers and the pilot (ground/air) and between air traffic controllers and other air traffic personnel (ground/ground). The system combines components such as audio devices, operation controller units and radio units which are all vital parts of the air traffic operation.

To be able to e.g. reconstruct an incident, it is essential for air traffic management to have access to authentic recorded data. Record and replay systems record voice signals, ambient microphones, screen data, radar data and video data. All information is time stamped and stored in a single media for synchronized replay from local or remote locations.
